Kate Hurst - Head of Brand Strategy & comms
Kate joined Sphere to lead brand positioning, marketing, and communications as the company transformed into a national leader in environmental infrastructure consulting. She shapes the way Sphere tells its story, engaging clients and partners through digital channels, LinkedIn campaigns, thought-leadership platforms, and client-facing communications.
With almost 20 years of experience spanning strategy, creative direction, brand identity, digital design, and event design, Kate blends storytelling with commercial insight to help purpose-driven organisations connect with their audiences and deliver meaningful impact. She has directed integrated brand strategies, established partnership frameworks, and led the design and delivery of high-value proposals for multi-million-dollar infrastructure tenders.
Kate also conceived and launched Sphere’s inaugural thought-leadership platform, creating the Loopholes podcast series and targeted sector campaigns that have elevated Sphere’s national profile. Beyond Sphere, her career has spanned climate, circular economy, and community-focused initiatives, with work showcased at TEDxSydney, Creative Mornings, Vivid Ideas, and Purpose Conference.
